Kidlington FC joined the Southern Football League in 2016 after promotion from the Hellanic League where they have spent most of their existence.

The Green’s Academy will begin in September 2019 with recruitment for the first intake starting in September 2018.

They are one of the inaugural members of the Southern League Football Academy in 2018.
